Meet The Team

Richard is Company Director of First4Car.com, which he began more than 21 years ago. With his passion for perfection and a 'can do' attitude First4car has gone from strength to strength. Richard is happy to get out from behind his desk and get his hands dirty and can be found helping out in the workshops, hoovering the showroom or indeed any job that needs doing. Some may say he's a workaholic......... probably true, but he always finds time for his family. No one knows where he gets his energy from!

Husband and wife teams are the best! Being Richards 'better half' Sally has a number of roles within the company including human resources, accounts, website detailing, to name just a few! She also 'manages' the next generation who can regularly be found helping out on a weekend in the valet bays and office...............they are already asking when they can take over!

As a family business, we really are all involved. Our son works within the business on a Saturday, in which he is taking on more and more responsibility and showing he has the family work ethic. He has grown up being part of the motor trade and has a genuine interest in anything car-related.

Our daughter prefers more office based tasks but again has a keen eye for detail and isn't afraid of working hard, despite her young age.

Luke is our Co-ordinator and Aftersales Manager. He has the huge task of ensuring everyone in the company knows what needs to be done and ensures it gets done! He works seamlessly between our workshops, valet team, and administration team. He's Richard's 'right-hand man'. As if that wasn't enough he liaises with customers following their purchase to ensure any issues are resolved as quickly as possible and with the least amount of inconvenience. 

Ben is one of our sales associates. He is a genuine family man who has a strong work ethic but is also the first to play a practical joke on his colleagues! Ben is often the first in the building and one of the last to leave to ensure his customers receive the very best service, and he meets his customer's expectations. Ben is not camera shy and is usually the spokesperson for First4car, recently being interviewed by Sky News for a piece on the effect of the pandemic on the motor trade.

James started his career at First4car in the valet team. He quickly showed promise and was offered the role of Administrator. With his passion for cars and determination to get things done, he is the man that keeps the paperwork in check and the prices competitive. More recently James has taken on the role of senior administrator and can be found at times working with the sales team........ there's no limits to this man's talents!

Liv is a great addition to our office staff. She is learning the ropes from James and proving herself to be a valued member of the team. With her dad in the motor trade, she thought she would give it a go herself.

Our vehicle technician Marv has over 30 years of experience in the motor trade. Now that's a lot of bonnets he's had his head under! Marv is conscientious and knowledgeable and an essential part of the First4car team.

Dale is a skilled and experienced alloy wheel technician, and a great addition to the team.

Our vehicle preparation team work really hard come rain or shine to ensure your new car looks and smells as good as new. These are the guys who prepare the vehicles when they initially arrive with us, photograph the vehicles for our website, and then add all the finishing touches to ensure she shines and looks at her best ready to drive away. Dave is the father figure of the team and is our longest standing member of staff at First4car with over 15 years of service. Ben, Josh, Gary and Dave all work incredibly hard and are all vital to the team.
